Overview

A leading global law firm is seeking a skilled Private Equity Associate Attorney with 26 years of experience to join its San Francisco office. This role is ideal for an intellectually curious self-starter who aspires to develop into an exceptional lawyer while working on high-profile, complex transactions with top-tier private equity clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support private equity transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and portfolio company investments.


• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents and related agreements.


• Conduct due diligence and prepare concise summary reports for internal and client use.


• Advise clients on regulatory matters and corporate governance issues relevant to private equity transactions.


• Collaborate closely with partners, senior associates, and support staff to manage multiple transactions efficiently.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.


• Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in).


• 26 years of experience in private equity transactions, M&A, or corporate finance.


• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
