Job Title: Project Manager – Glass & Glazing

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Salary: Up to $120,000 (Based on Experience)

Relocation Assistance: Available for the right candidate

Overview:

I’m working with a reputable and well-established glass and glazing subcontractor based in Charlotte, NC , known for delivering complex commercial building envelope solutions across the Southeast. Due to continued growth and a strong backlog, they are looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in commercial glazing projects.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing commercial projects involving one or more of the following scopes:

• Storefront systems
• Stick-built and unitized curtain wall
• ACM panels
• Glass handrails
• Structural glass canopies
• Punch windows
• Custom glazing systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee commercial glass and glazing projects from kickoff through closeout
• Manage project schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor coordination
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate closely with field superintendents, fabrication teams, and general contractors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards
• Participate in progress meetings and maintain strong client relationships

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing commercial glass and glazing projects
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems and installation sequencing
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and contract documents
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in the Charlotte, NC area
• Background check required
• Relocation assistance is available for qualified out-of-market candidates
