Base pay range $18.00/hr - $18.00/hr Retail Mobile Patrol Security Officer – Full Time – Colorado Springs, CO Former Military / Law Enforcement Encouraged To Apply!! Wage: $18.62/HR Available Shift Sun: 11:30AM - 11:30PM Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. What Your Day May Look Like Greet vendors, customers, client employees, client, customer’s and aid as needed. Conduct external mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to customers, public, and vendors. Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems. Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employees, customers, client, and Management know their needs are being met. Present a good image to client, public, and Management. Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. Partners with Asset Protection to meet client needs. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public. Must have Day / Swing shift availability. Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors, customers, client, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service. Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices. Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, public, client, and Office Management. Must be open to communication and feedback from client, site management and Office Management. Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks. Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily. Must be able to remain organized and professional. Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations. Must provide high quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone. Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol. Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
