Job Description

All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) is currently accepting resumes for the following position.

Reporting to the Fort McMurray service manager, this electrical journeyperson will be providing coverage for all ATE aggregate

clients in the Fort McMurray region on a average of 10 - 15days per month with additional time providing electrical service to clients in either the Calgary or Edmonton region based on place of residence.

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and / or Inter Provincial designation.
• Minimum of 5years relevant experience.
• Extensive understanding of motor controls, variable frequency drives and soft starters.
• Electrical and mechanical understanding of aggregate systems including crushers, conveyor systems and cones.
• Understanding of programmable logic controllers is an asset.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills.
• Reading and interpreting blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to pass a pre- access drug and alcohol test.
• Valid training certificates, CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS, Leadership for Safety Excellence and aerial work platform.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• The desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed.

Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician:
• 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers Licence (required)
