About the Role:

As a Pro Forklift Operator at Custom Courier Solutions NY (CCSNY), you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse and distribution centers. Your primary focus will be on operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, maintaining the flow of inventory to meet delivery schedules and customer demands. You will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and operational guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a secure working environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff and logistics teams to optimize storage and shipping processes. Ultimately, your efforts will directly contribute to the overall productivity and success of CCSNY’s supply chain operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification or license in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, logs, and complete documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with different types of forklifts including counterbalance and reach trucks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
• Previous experience working in a courier or logistics company.
• Additional safety training or certifications related to material handling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bilingual or Spanish speaking highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse and loading docks.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Organize and stack materials in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization and maintain order.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate timely shipments and inventory management.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Assist in training new forklift operators and support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $17.00
