About the Role 

We are looking for someone who actively searches for market opportunities, especially within the crypto and on-chain ecosystem, and who can advise our team on how to leverage these opportunities safely and effectively.

The Consultant will act as a trusted advisor supporting the Neutron team with financial insights, risk assessments, and recommendations across both traditional and digital asset strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor financial markets, crypto trends, emerging protocols, and macro conditions.
• Identify new investment opportunities across traditional and on-chain markets.
• Scan the DeFi ecosystem for yield strategies, liquidity pools, and staking options.
• Present market findings and strategic recommendations with clear data.
• Advise on treasury allocation across stablecoins, crypto assets, and traditional instruments.
• Recommend secure on-chain yield strategies balancing returns, liquidity, and risk.
• Guide the team on custody solutions: multi-sig, MPC, hardware wallets, and security best practices.
• Support operational safety for managing funds across wallets, exchanges, and custodians.
• Help develop a diversified investment strategy aligned with risk tolerance and goals.
• Conduct due diligence on assets, protocols, and investment platforms.
• Evaluate yield opportunities, incentives, and risks tied to decentralized finance.
• Perform risk assessments covering smart-contract, market, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
• Advise on dashboards for treasury tracking, yield performance, and market indicators.
• Share insights, reporting, and documentation to support internal alignment and compliance.
• Collaborate across teams and provide internal training on crypto markets, treasury models, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, investments, crypto, treasury, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of on-chain strategies, self-custody frameworks, and DeFi mechanics.
• Experience analyzing yield opportunities, liquidity pools, staking, and token economics.
• Excellent risk assessment skills, with ability to identify and clearly communicate risks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to present clear, structured recommendations.
• Effective communicator able to advise non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently and proactively.
